BBQ Chicken | Make your own or buy it in the store: you can plan a couple of meals with one chicken. Use for salad, sandwich, soup, pizza and more. |
Hard-boiled eggs (in shell) | Cook some in advance, keep in the fridge for up to a week and add to salads and sandwiches during the week. |
Roast | Make one roast and use for a couple of meals and snacks. |
Sauce | Make one sauce that can accompany two meals during the same week (example: our pineapple sauce you can use for the wraps and the roast). |
What to do with leftovers | |

What to do with leftovers | Freeze in ice cube tray and store in a resealable bag in freezer. Add to soups, stews, sauces for additional flavor. |
Leftover broth | Freeze leftover or homemade broth in 1-cup muffin tins. When frozen, pop the portions out of the tin and store them in a resealable bag in freezer. |
Leftover fresh herbs | Rosemary, sage, thyme and oregano can be frozen in ice cube trays. Place some herbs in each compartment and fill with olive oil. Freeze and store them in a resealable bag in freezer. Next time you start a recipe with oil use the herb-infused frozen oil for extra flavour! |
Leftover pasta | Let cool, place in plastic bag, squeeze air out and keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. Use for salads or as side dish. Reheat in a sauce or in microwave. |

Cut vegetables thinly | It reduces cooking time. |
