What to do with leftovers
What to do with leftoversFreeze in ice cube tray and store in a resealable bag in freezer.
Add to soups, stews, sauces for additional flavor.
Leftover broth Freeze leftover or homemade broth in 1-cup muffin tins.
When frozen, pop the portions out of the tin and store them in a resealable bag in freezer.
Leftover fresh herbsRosemary, sage, thyme and oregano can be frozen in ice cube trays. Place some herbs in each compartment and fill with olive oil. Freeze and store them in a resealable bag in freezer. Next time you start a recipe with oil use the herb-infused frozen oil for extra flavour!
